MEET THE REHAB WARRIORS
Brandon Mcauley

“In May of 2019 I was six months away from the end of my active service in the Marine Corps. One day I was speaking with a fellow Marine about post DD214 life and mentioned that I was interested in doing something with real estate. He told me about a Marine he served with named Andy Williams, who after his years of service, became a highly successful entrepreneur. and had his own real estate show on HGTV. He also told me that Andy had a program that taught Veterans and active duty personnel the basics of residential real estate and how to find/create value.
I began the Rehab Warrior Institute in June of 2019 in Ft Worth Texas and had no real estate background nor experience coming in. The course is structured in a way that builds a strong foundation and allows for newcomers to beat the learning curve. What really sets this course apart is the practice of taking the information being learned in the class room and observe it out in the community being executed in real time. For example, we would learn how to evaluate a rehab and what key items to focus on when walking through a property. That lesson would then be re-enforced by taking us out into the community and actually doing it. Not just telling us what right looks like, but showing us. With being new to real estate, that teaching style was extremely beneficial and allowed me to fully understand the principles that were being taught.
In October of 2019, I pulled the trigger on my first residential rehab in my hometown of Johnson City, TN. The Rehab Warrior team was there for me every step of the way and guided/ mentored throughout the entire process. Having that backstop of knowledge and experience kept me on the right course and propelled me towards success in getting through my first deal. Thanks to the Rehab Warrior Institute I am now equipped to go into my community, identify underserved areas, and create high quality housing that’s affordable!” – Brandon McCauley

Benjamin Grothe

“The Rehab Warriors program has already made a huge impact on my life in that it has changed my vision for my family’s future and provided a vehicle through which I can continue to serve my community. The opportunities that have been opened are huge for my family’s future. The resources and partnerships will undoubtedly allow me to achieve my financial goals while also providing value to the communities we serve. Real Estate is something I have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. Having the opportunity now to invest in real estate is incredible.
This will allow me to create a brighter future for my family with the freedom that we have been looking for. Through my experiences in the program I have been able to revitalize communities that need support. The impact to these communities and the people that call them home is special and wouldn’t be possible without the Rehab Warriors program. As an Air Force veteran, I know what it feels like to have a sense of purpose and duty. Since leaving the service I have missed that feeling in my life. The Rehab Warriors program has provided the perfect opportunity for me to reinvigorate that feeling. Combining my passion for real estate with my sense of duty has been incredible as I am now able to focus my energy on a clear path toward a better tomorrow for my family and the community.” – Ben Grothe

Jason Scott
“At the beginning of this year, I came to you curious about the industry, unsure of how I could best utilize the real estate market for my family and I. My wife is also a Navy vet and we both knew that our skill sets would be challenged by moving to Dallas. 3 months in, I feel very confident in my integration into the industry. I’m working at my own pace and doing the thing I love the most, helping my fellow Americans find a place to call home. Even in the face of this pandemic, I’m more optimistic than ever because I know that as a Rehab Warrior, this is now a life long mission. Looking forward to seeing this program transform other vets into Rehab Warriors as well.” – Jason Scott

Shareese Blakely

“The Rehab Warrior Program is hands down, the best investment that I have made into myself! May 2019 marked the beginning of my transition out of the Army and the start to making the tough decisions of what I wanted to do in the real world. After deciding to place all of my time and energy into my passion of real estate investing, I sought out Andy for his knowledge and expertise in March of 2020, knowing that he too was a fellow veteran who was already succeeding in the real estate development industry. After introducing my to the Rehab Warrior Program, not only did I have a smooth transition out of the military and into the platform, but right away I was able to make huge leaps and bounds toward accomplishing my goals. Within two months of entering the program, I was able to create a development strategy, build my team, start my business, and purchase my first property to renovate and rent! At this rate, I’m pretty sure that the best has yet to come!”
